Here are some of the events we host, designed to engage our members and foster learning, collaboration, and innovation. Each event offers a unique opportunity for growth and connection.
RoboKo is an exciting sumobot competition organized for the first time in Algeria by IEEE ENP SB. In this event, participants design and build autonomous robots to compete in a challenging arena. Roboko encourages participants to apply their knowledge of robotics, electronics, and programming and adapt their robots to unpredictable challenges. It’s a thrilling competition that tests both technical abilities and strategic thinking.
SynapseOn is an exciting 72-hour datathon where participants are challenged to analyze and interpret large datasets to solve real-world problems. Teams collaborate to develop innovative solutions using data science techniques and algorithms. The event fosters critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in data analytics. With a focus on practical applications, Synapseon offers a platform for members to showcase their skills and creativity.
IEEE Talks is an event where members come together to discuss a wide range of topics, from technical and scientific subjects to psychological insights. It’s an opportunity to engage in stimulating conversations and exchange diverse perspectives. Each session fosters open dialogue and encourages everyone to contribute their thoughts. It’s all about learning from one another and growing together.
IEEEftar is a special annual event held during one night of Ramadan, where club members gather on campus to break their fast together. After a long day of fasting, they share a warm and meaningful dinner in a spirit of unity and gratitude. This gathering not only celebrates a cultural and spiritual tradition, but also strengthens the bonds between dedicated members. It creates a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere, filled with connection, reflection, and shared memories.
IEEExtreme is a 24-hour global programming competition organized by IEEE. Students from universities worldwide team up to solve challenging problems. Each team consists of up to three IEEE student members and a proctor. The contest tests coding skills, problem-solving, and teamwork under pressure. It’s a great way to learn, compete, and connect with the global tech community.
